Marisa A. Betancourt
My name is Marisa Betancourt and I own a private duty home care company in Southern New Jersey. I am a mother, a wife, and entrepreneur.
I got involved supporting the SpectraCare Foundation because of their passion to support our Veterans, at-risk Seniors, and Animals. These populations, for a long time, have been neglected; in critical need of care and support. SpectraCare Foundation and its founders stop at nothing to put programs, and now the Carlton Rouh Center, together in support of the aforementioned populations, and it’s clear in everything they do. They take from what little they have to focus on others.
Much like its founders do, I too share a love for the disabled, veterans, and the elderly, specifically. So many do not know where to turn, that benefits exist for them to get the help, care and resources they so desperately need. Often times, once they find out about these benefits,(if they do), they are not told how to access those benefits, and are left desolate; feeling abandoned. Often times this leads to serious depression and even suicide. SpectraCare exists to educate, provide resources and helps participants navigate application for and obtaining of benefits they qualify for. They aim to provide much-needed therapy, screenings and other medical assistance, home care and home health, financial management, housing, discounts, tangible items needed to live quality lives; as independently as possible. SpectraCare Foundation brings communities together to support one another and I can absolutely stand behind that.
Veterans, the elderly and at-risk animals come together under the SpectraCare Foundation: Veterans helping veterans or elderly, animals helping veterans or the elderly and veterans and the elderly helping at-risk animals.
Consider supporting this organization alongside me so that we can make sure every Veteran, Disabled person, seniors and at-risk animals in the area they serve has hope, and knows they have their community fighting to support them together.
